The short version. This website has no analytics, no advertising trackers and sets no cookies of its own. We collect what you type into the enquiry form or the booking calendar, use it to reply to you and run the call, and delete it when we no longer need it. You can ask us to show, correct or erase it at any time.
1. Who we are
Baaman AI Lab Private Limited ("Baaman AI Lab", "we", "us") is a company registered in India, CIN U62012DL2025PTC442308, with its office at Office No. 402, D-248, Abhishek Business Center, Near Laxmi Nagar Metro Station, Gate No. 1, Delhi 110092.
For personal data collected through baaman.ai (the "website"), we are the Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the "DPDP Act") and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers the website, the enquiry form, call bookings made through it, and emails or calls you start with us from it.
It does not cover personal data we handle while building or running systems for a school or company. In that work the school or company is usually the Data Fiduciary and we act as its Data Processor, under a written contract. That includes student, parent and staff data. If you are a student, parent or staff member, please contact your institution first; we will help it answer you.
3. What we collect

We do not use analytics or advertising tools, and the website sets no cookies of its own. Fonts are served from our own servers. When you open the booking calendar, Cal.com may set cookies that its calendar needs to work.
4. Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange and run the call you asked for.
- To prepare for the call, for example by understanding your school or product before we meet.
- To send a proposal, quote or follow-up that you ask for.
- To keep the website secure and stop spam and misuse.
- To keep records the law requires us to keep, and to establish or defend legal claims.
We process your data with your consent, which you give when you submit the form or book a call, or because you gave it to us voluntarily for that purpose, as allowed by section 7(a) of the DPDP Act.
We will not add you to a newsletter or marketing list without asking separately. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use what you send us to train AI models.
5. How long we keep it
- Enquiries and bookings that do not lead to work: up to 24 months after our last conversation, then deleted.
- If we start working together: for the length of the contract, and afterwards for as long as tax, company and contract law require.
- Hosting and security logs: kept by our providers for short periods. Where the DPDP Rules require it, we keep basic logs for at least one year.
If you withdraw consent or ask us to erase your data, we delete it unless the law requires us to keep it.
6. Who we share it with
We use a few service providers to run the website and talk to you. They process data only on our instructions:

We also share personal data when the law requires it, for example with a court, regulator or the police acting lawfully. We never share it with anyone for their own marketing.
7. Transfers outside India
Some providers above store data outside India. The DPDP Act allows this unless the Government of India restricts transfers to a particular country, and we will stop any transfer it restricts. We choose providers with published security and data-protection commitments.
8. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act you can:
- Access: get a summary of the personal data we hold about you and what we do with it.
- Correct and update: fix data that is wrong or incomplete.
- Erase: ask us to delete your data when it is no longer needed for the purpose you gave it.
- Withdraw consent: as easily as you gave it. This does not affect what we did before you withdrew.
- Raise a grievance: with us, and then with the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied.
- Nominate: name someone to use these rights for you if you die or become unable to.
Email hi@baaman.ai with the subject "Privacy request". We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act. We aim to reply within 30 days.
9. Children
The website is meant for adults acting for schools, institutions and companies. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 through it. If you think a child has sent us their details, write to us and we will delete them.
When we work with student data for a school, the school obtains verifiable consent from parents or guardians as the DPDP Act requires. We process that data only on the school's instructions, never for tracking, behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising directed at children.
10. Security
The website is served only over HTTPS. Access to enquiry and booking data is limited to the people who need it to reply to you. If a personal data breach affects you, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India as the DPDP Rules require.

12. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we use data you have already given us, we will tell you before it applies.
